Lecture

Presenting a lecture

A live talk in a thematic session.

  • PowerPoint or PDF — 16:9 format preferred.

  • The event is live. Sessions are timed so authors can present in their own time zone.

  • There are no design rules for slide layout, but please keep the reserved area in the template clear — your camera feed sits there during the live presentation.

Poster

Preparing your poster

Posters live in the virtual poster hall (JPG) and on-site (printed A0). Optional pre-recorded video adds context for online attendees.

  • Portrait format, size DIN A0.

  • Upload a JPG for the virtual poster hall via the Abstract Management System, at the latest one week before the event. Max file size 25 MB.

  • Optional: Pre-recorded video in which you present your poster. Mp4 format, max 150 MB. We recommend HandBrake for conversion and size reduction.

  • On-site: bring the printed poster (A0) to the venue. In addition upload the file.

  • Online: prepare your poster and upload the file.

Manuscript

Submitting your manuscript

Every author is asked to submit a written manuscript for their contribution. Together, these manuscripts make up the conference proceedings.

  • A manuscript template will be provided and must be used for every submission.

  • Manuscript length: 8 pages for plenary and keynote lectures, 6 pages for lectures and posters.

  • The submission deadline is 15 May 2027.

  • Every manuscript is reviewed before publication.

  • The conference proceedings are published digitally, and the full manuscript collection receives its own DOI.
